Cata Mining/Herb Gold Making Guide: Uldum - Best Routes | Getting Started/Farming

Cata Mining Gold Guide SQ

To get started, you'll need to have 525 Mining, 500 Herbalism and be atleast level 80 along with Azeroth flying. You'll also want to download the addon, gatherer and its data; if you want the nodes already marked although I prefer a clean slate and like to make my own personally. Then, get a few Mining & Herb bags and make sure you have one regular bag to collect all your gems or items from killing mobs and that there mostly empty. Lastly, be repaired, have some food/water, blare some music, and have fun!

  • To get to Uldum just take the port in your faction's major city or fly there. Once in Uldum, start on the route I put on my map or unhide the route I've given you with my custom Routes addon. Click here to get Tarou's custom Routes file for Mining, Herbalism, & Mining/Herb Combo!.
  • Ok so, I'll be spending 30 minutes on this route to give you a general idea of what you can expect to mine up from Uldum. I really like this route when competition is high but different times may call for different routes which is why I'll give three different versions. The route I'm using is my medium length route. I do adjust it through out the video but, the one you should have is the final or latest version. You can always make your own that go with your style and realm. This medium route is a lot of fun for me. I just kinda cruise through zone hitting up the river while checking both sides for Whiptail spawns and then circle around into my Mining section picking up some Cinderbloom here and there. Pyrite spawns are also nice and seem to be pretty plentiful for Uldum. Pyrite and Volatiles is where the real gold is at and definitely something you should always hope for. Sometimes you'll have better luck than other times but overall the average for Uldum is pretty amazing when Mining and Herb'ing as a combo.
  • With Herbalism I don't need to dismount but, Mining I do. That's why I try my best to avoid mobs since they will slow you down slighty. Always try looting without getting aggro. Being that I'm only level 83 I do have a few handicaps but nothing too bad besides killing mobs slower and getting aggro easier. Most of the Mining nodes though aren't anywhere near mobs so any class should be could. Whiptail on the other hand is often near mobs so you may have to fight some mobs if you're not a Druid. Remember if you do have to fight a mob, CC it, loot the node, and then kill it so you don't have to worry about anyone coming along and stealing it. Other classes like Hunters and Rogues can CC, loot, and slighty run away while feigning death or vanishing to lose aggro. If you're geared, quickly killing the mobs is of course another option.

    Mining/Herb Uldum: Best Routes

  • This second one is the smallest and awesome when you have zero competition. Respawns happen almost perfectly as you reach the next node.

    Mining/Herb Uldum: Best Routes

  • This last one is a great medium. It's not too long but long enough to help with excessive competition. I typically use my small route to start and extend it if I'm not finding ore like I should be. I used the middle one for this video and guide.

  • When farming anything, the time of the day and day of the week can matter a lot when trying to avoid competition. Early morning or very late at night Sunday through Thursday seem to be pretty low competition times and days but your server may vary a bit. Even with competition, my routes still work well since you have a few to choose from. Sometimes raid times can be low comp as well which is usually 7pm to 10pm Tuesday & Wednesday. So, if you don't get a spot in this week's raid or are waiting for a spot, try farming a little and see how well you do.

Cata Mining/Herb Combo Gold Making Guide: Uldum - Best Routes | Mining/Herb - Totals/Recap/Suggestions

  • Alright, so after 30 minutes of flying around farming I was able to get 12 Pyrite Ore, 101 Elementium Ore, and a good amount of Volatiles. I'll throw it all up on the Auction House for 12 hours undercutting any competition.

Detailed List of Items from Mining/Herbalism - Uldum:
    Mining - Uldum:
    Pyrite Ore x 12 = 94.8g (7.9g ea.)
    Elementium Ore x 101 = 191.9g (1.9g ea.)
    Volatile Earth x 4 = 15.2g (3.8g ea.)
    Volatile Water x 3 = 26.7g (8.9g ea.)
    Volatile Fire x 10 = 169g (16.9g ea.)
    Hessonite x 3 = 22.5g (7.5g ea.)
    ----
    Mining Total = 520.1g

    Herbalism - Uldum:
    Whiptail x 101 = 191.9g (1.9g ea.)
    Cinderbloom x 25 = 24.5g (0.98g ea.)
    Volatile Life x 52 = 312g (6g ea.)
    ----
    Herbalism Total = 528.4g
    ------------------------------------
    Total = 1,048.5g in 30 minutes
    or 2,097g in one hour.

  • It didn't take but a few hours to sell everything and my total for the 30 minutes session was 1,048.5g or 2,097g per hour.
  • Keep in mind these are prices for my server so to see how yours would of done, check the Auction House and plug in the prices. I did have about 3 people herb'ing with me and 4 people mining so expect better numbers if you're alone in the zone or worse if competition is high. You can also try and get a little more out of it by smelting bars if they're more gold. Especially check Hardened Elementium Bars and Pyrium Bars since they seem to make a profit by just buying the mats and smelting them. Especially as of late.
  • The best classes to use for farming are Paladin and Druid. DK's with the movement talent are good as well along with other classes for different reasons like vanish from a Rogue or Feign Death from a Hunter. It's also ideal to have 310% flying so if you don't have it, save up some of the gold you make and buy it. It's well worth it. If you have any questions, ask away in the comments.
  • Well, that's it for the second video of my Mining/Herbalism Combo Gold Making Series: "Uldum" - How to Make Gold w/ Mining/Herbalism Combo and I hope you liked it. Some luck is involved with Mining and it may take you a few tries to get use to a new route. Don't be afraid to switch things up and find what zone and path works best for you. And like I've said in just about every video, farming doesn't have to suck. Make it more fun by talking with friends on vent or IRL, blaring some music, watching TV, combine with Dailys, or do whatever is fun for you.

  • Alight so, as usual I'll be spending 30 minutes on this route to give you a general idea of what you can expect to mine up from Deepholm. I really like this route whether competition is high or low or whatever. It's the small length one but, it's pretty unconventional compared to most routes people are using so even when competition was high in this video, it didn't seem to phase me the least bit. It's kind of a weird routes that isn't very linear or whatever you call but it hits so many nodes through so many other standard routes you really throw off the competition. My other two routes for here are like that as well. For this one I fly around sticking to the route pretty much but do some extra turning when I get to the Heartblossom motherload up here in the North-West. Not only is this area lined with ore but herbs are also scattered all over the place. You won't find any Pyrite in Deepholm but, rich veins can net some really nice Volatile amounts if you're lucky. I didn't seem to be too lucky with this run.
  • As a Druid or if you were level 85, mobs shouldn't pose much of a problem at all. Most Mining veins are away from mobs and herbs can be picked without getting out of flight form if you're a Druid. Level 85's shouldn't aggro much if careful enough even if they aren't a Druid. As always though, remember if you do have to fight a mob, CC it, loot the node, and then kill it so you don't have to worry about anyone coming along and stealing it. Other classes like Hunters and Rogues can CC, loot, and slighty run away while feigning death or vanishing to lose aggro. Be creative with your class since others have different options for losing aggro easily. If you're geared, quickly killing the mobs is of course another option.

  • Ok so, as I'm sure you've guessed by now, I'll be spending 30 minutes on this route to give you a general idea of what you can expect to mine and herb up from Twilight Highlands. The routes I've come up with for here are simply amazing in my opinion. There were about five people farming ore and four people farming herbs but I barely noticed them by using my medium length route. Also, almost all herb and mining nodes are far enough away from mobs that you won't pull aggro at all. Any others you can cc the mob, loot the node, and then kill it, or simply de-aggro it and fly away.
  • Pyrite Ore is very plentiful here in Twilight Highlands and you should find a lot of it while farming specially for ore. This route is ore heavy and also finds a good amount along with Rich Elementium.

  • This zone is pretty competitive and it helps to farm early morning or very late at night Sunday through Thursday on most servers. You can also try farming during raid times if say, you didn't get in the raid that night or are a PvP'er and don't raid at all anyway. This is usually 7pm to 10pm on most servers but tailor anything I say to your specific server since it can be different.

All Cataclysm Profession Bonuses, Perks, & Benefits!

Before choosing any profession, it may help to have a look below at the different bonuses, perks, or benefits that the profession will provide. This can help you make a sound decision on which will help your character the most. All in all though the bonuses themselves will be very comparable. Instead, you may want to focus on the way each bonus is given or if the profession offers some sort of perk that can save you a lot of gold or time. Alchemy is a good example. If you are spec'd in a certain discipline like potions and your a raided who uses potions a lot, you may save some consider amount of gold from the procs. You'll also be able to make an iLvl359 trinket fairly cheap and easily. On top of that you'll get a flask that is NOT consumable which can be perfect for a farming or daily questing type player. In short, think about what you do in the game and consider which profession will benefit your character or characters the most.

Finally, this is a good time to clean up and clean out your bank, bags, and alts. You're going to need the space and having everything organized will help making gold a lot easier with less chaotic frustration.

You also want to make sure you have all the best money making addons like the ones listed on the screen. Each has a video tutorial if you need help setting them up.

Well, that's it and I wish the best of luck to everyone in your gold making adventures in Patch 5.2.

Below is a detailed walk-through on how to level Herbalism 1-600 the easiest and quickest. Herbalism doesn't take too much effort and at higher levels can be quite profitable especially in Mists of Pandaria with current prices. This Herbalism leveling 1-600 guide is as complete as I can make it. If you aren't leveling Alchemy you should make 3,500g or more from selling the herbs on the Auction House you farm to skill up which of course will ultimately depend on your server's prices.

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 1-70 - Apprentice Herbalism

  • Start by learning Apprentice Herbalism. This requires level 5. You can ask a guard in any major city to find where an Herbalism trainer is located.
  • Next, head out to any starting area and begin leveling Herbalism. The first 70 levels will come quick and are extremely easy.

Although I only show Elwynn Forest and Tirisfal Glades below, players can easily level 1-70 in any starting area. These are mainly suggested for the flow of the guide and typical leveling areas.

  • Once you reach skill level 70, go to your trainer and learn Journeyman Herbalism. This requires level 10 and will allow you to reach Herbalism skill level 150.
  • Herbalism 1-70Herbalism 1-70

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 70-150 - Journeyman Herbalism

  • Even though Hillsbrad is mainly a Horde zone and possibly a bit higher in level than where you'd be leveling your character, I really suggest going there even if you're Alliance since this is by far the best place to level 70-150 easily using one zone. Using one zone will save tons on your travel time and thereby make getting to 525 quicker with less headaches.
  • Start by leveling your Herbalism following the 'green route'. Once you hit skill level 125, enter the red area and farm that until 150.
  • Herbalism 70-150

  • Once you hit skill level 150, head back to the trainer and learn Expert Herbalism. This requires level 20 and will allow you to reach skill level 225.

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 150-225 - Expert Herbalism

  • When you first get into either Western Plaguelands or Feralas you won't be able to farm Khadgar's Whisker until you reach skill level 160. These first 10 levels, or 5 with a glove enchant, will go super quick so don't sweat it too much. If you plan to go to Thousand Needles to continue your leveling, learn Artisan Herbalism and continue leveling until 230 before going on.
  • Herbalism 150-225Herbalism 150-225

  • Once you reach skill level 225, go to the trainer and learn Artisan Herbalism before changing zones. Artisan Herbalism requires level 35 and will allow you to reach Herbalism skill level 300.

WoW Herbalism 1-600 Leveling Guide | Herbalism 225-285 - Artisan Herbalism

  • Here your going to be hitting up Eastern Plaguelands from 225-285 or Thousand Needles 230-285. Eastern Plaguelands is pretty good and you should have no problems leveling here but the last 10 or so points may be a bit annoying because things will start to green and grey out which is why I prefer Thousand Needles. The place is really awesome and filled with Sungrass. You'll need skill level 230 or 225 plus the +5 enchant to gloves.
  • Herbalism 225-285

  • If you don't have a flying mount, take the green line straight down Southeast until reaching the red square. Turn around and head back up until you reach 285. Make sure to go into both Twilight places (you'll have to swim) so you can get all the herbs possible.
  • Herbalism 225-285

  • Once you reach skill level 285, go to the trainer and learn Master Herbalism. Master Herbalism requires level 40 and will allow you to reach Herbalism skill level 375.

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 285-325 - Master

  • For skill levels 285-325 you'll want to head to Swamp of Sorrows. This zone is awesome and is packed with herbs everywhere. I have drawn a general route but once you get there you'll see that you really don't need one since the herbs are scattered about all over the place.
  • Herbalism 285-325

  • For here, you could go to Outlands after reaching 300 but Swamp of Sorrows is super easy to farm in and allows you to skip Hellfire Peninsula completely. I have included the Hellfire Peninsula map just in case but you shouldn't need it.
  • Herbalism 300-325

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 325-350 - Master Herbalism

  • I've listed Zangarmarsh and Terrokar Forest below, but I've found Zangarmarsh to be a bit better.
  • Once you reach skill level 350, go to a trainer and learn Grand Master Herbalism. Grand Master Herbalism requires level 55 and will allow you to reach skill level 450.
  • Herbalism 325-350Herbalism 325-350

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 350-400 - Grand Master Herbalism

  • Depending on your preference, you can go to either Nothrend starting areas; Howling Fjord or Borean Tundra. However, the zone after this that I suggest is Sholazar Basin which is just above Borean Tundra.
  • Herbalism 350-400Herbalism 350-400

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 400-435 - Grand Master Herbalism

  • Sholazar Basin was one of the best farming zones for herbs back in Wrath. This also makes it great for leveling herbalism to 435 and beyond.
  • Herbalism 400-435

  • Once you reach skill level 435 or more, go to a trainer and learn Illustrious Grand Master Herbalism. Illustrious Grand Master Herbalism requires level 75 and will allow you to reach skill level 525.

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 435-475 - Illustrious GM Herbalism

  • Once you finish leveling Herbalism to 435, head to the new Cataclysm starting area, Mount Hyjal. This place is very easy to farm in and shouldn't take you long to get to 475.
  • Herbalism 425-475

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 475-500 - Illustrious GM Herbalism

  • Once you finish leveling Herbalism to 475, head to the new Cataclysm zone, Deepholm. This place was nerfed a little bit but is still very good. It requires you to be level 82 so if for some reason you want to hit 525 before that, stay in Mount Hyjal until 500 and then go to the rivers in Uldum for Whiptail.
  • Herbalism 475-525

WoW Herbalism Guide 1-600 Leveling | Herbalism Guide 500-600 - Zen Master Herbalism

  • When you get to 500 make sure to train Zen Master Herbalism. You'll need to be level 80. Then, go to the Jade Forest to farm Green Leaf Tea. This herb is everywhere and it should take you no time at all to reach 525. Follow the path and it'll lead you into Rain Poppy which will get you from 525-545.
  • Herbalism 500-545

Next up is Silkweed which will get you from 545 to 575. Just run along the river and cut back up north into and over Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

    Herbalism 545-575

Pass through Vale and into Kun-Lai Summit. Start farming Snow Lily by following the path on the map below. You will reach 600 in no time.

Mining & Herbalism Combo 1-600 Leveling Guide | Apprentice

Alright, you can finally start Herb'ing and Mining your way to 600. You can level in any starting zone but I'll be showing Tirisfal Glades. Throughout the video you'll have zone choices and I'll put all the maps, including Alliance maps, on my website at tarouwowguides.com for easy viewing or you can use my custom routes for the Routes addon. I'll add a link in the info.

In Tirisfal Glades just follow the route clockwise around. It's helpful to have 'Auto Loot' on if you don't already by pressing 'Esc' and selecting Interface. Then under Controls check the box next to 'Auto Loot'.

      Mining/Herb Route

      Mining/Herb Route

      Mining/Herb Route

Keep picking flowers until you hit skill level 50 or so in Herbalism. By then you should also have around 60 Copper Ore. It should only take a lap around the zone. Then, fly over to Bril where you can learn Journeyman Herbalist from trainer. From there fly into Undercity and smelt the 60 or so Copper Ore you have as high as you can. You'll want to hit skill level 50. After hitting 50, see the Mining trainer and learn Journeyman Miner. If you're Alliance do the same but using your starter zone and capital city.

Mining & Herbalism Combo Leveling Guide | Journeyman

Next, go over to Hillsbrad and start on the route I have laid out on the map. You're going to follow it clockwise around staying on the outer route until you reach skill level 125 in Herbalism right around when you complete your first lap. Then, you can fly into the center and herb up the Frozen Herbs scattered throughout. It shows 400 skill on the tooltip but you can just ignore that.

      Mining/Herb Route

After you have the center picked to empty, go back to the outer route and loop around it repeating the route.

Once you hit 150 in Herbalism and 105 in Mining, head to the closest trainer for herbs which will be in Tarren Mill for Horde or the Wetlands for Alliance. Once there, learn Expert Herbalist. Don't worry about training Mining yet.

Mining & Herbalism Combo Leveling Guide | Expert

Next, fly over to Western Plaguelands and follow the route on the screen counter-clockwise. At first you'll mostly see Liferoot and Stranglekelp along the water. I wouldn't bother with the Stranglekelp. You also can't pick the Blindweed but there's only a few on west side section of water that you might see as you loop back around to the start. Just skip them and keep farming your way around the route. Don't be afraid to go a bit away from the route towards the center into the fields and open area. You can find a lot of herbs here but the ones in the fields do have phasing issues sometimes. Most of the Mining nodes will be on the mountain terrain edge and you'll find the occasional Gold Vein but mostly it'll be Iron.

      Mining/Herb Route

Stay on this route until you hit 150 in Mining and have 225 in Herbalism. It'll probably take you 2 or 3 laps. After that, hearth back to your main capital town and learn Expert Miner from the trainer along with anything else available. Then, smelt all the Gold Ore you have to grab some extra points. Next, go to the Herbalism trainer and learn Artisan Herbalist.

From here we'll head to Thousand Needles. It's a bit of flight and a great time to take a break. Now go get some pizza or something.

Ok , now to get started in Thousand needles. Follow the route you see counter-clockwise. There's tons of Sungrass and you'll even find some Liferoot in the beginning down in this little area. Ooh, maybe even a treasure chest. I love treasure. Hmm, a Blade of the Titans. Not bad. I think these sell for about 1,000 gold on my server.

      Mining/Herb Route

Ok, back to leveling. This route is really simple as you can see. The Sungrass will be in the flat areas while the Mithril Veins will be along the mountainous edge. After a lap you should have 260 in Herbalism and around 180 in Mining.

Hearth back to town and go to Felwood. On the way, it's probably a good idea to send all the items you mined and herb'd up to an alt to clear out your bags.

Mining & Herbalism Combo Leveling Guide | Artisan

In Felwood follow the route along the left side picking all the herbs and mining up all the Mithril and occasaional Truesilver Veins.

      Mining/Herb Route

Herbs and Mining Veins are pretty well condensed and you should get tons in a small area.

Oh and while you're leveling you might see enemy players gank your faction members. If you saw in the beginning of Felwood I was checking out a few Alliance. They ganked someone so I killed them both. Normally, I don't bother killing lowbies but two versus one is a little whack.

Continue on the left side portion of the route until you round the top and have around 205 in Mining and 275 in Herbalism. Then, cruise over into Winterspring and follow the route going counter-clockwise along the bottom.

      Mining/Herb Route

      Mining/Herb Route

      Mining/Herb Route

As you loop around going south, head up into Mount Hyjal or hearth back to Orgrimmar or Stormwind. Train Master Herbalist and Artisan Miner along with anything else available. Then, smelt all the Thorium Ore you have.

Next, go back to the portals and take the one to Mount Hyjal. Then, fly over and down into Winterspring plummeting to your death. Just kidding. Pop a chute or flight form if you have it. If not, be boring and fly safely down the whole way.

In Winterspring, continue to fly counter-clockwise around my route until you hit skill level 260 or more in Mining. This will probably only take a half of lap or less and if you hate Burning Crusade zones you can stay a bit longer to decrease your time in BC zones. For Herbalism you want at least 290 but will likely have exceeded that by a lot.

Once you hit your skill level targets, hearth back to Orgrimmar or Stormwind or take the portal from Mount Hyjal. In town, smelt up all the Thorium Ore you have until at least skill level 275 although you might get as farm as 290. Then, train Master Miner and anything available.

Mining & Herbalism Combo 1-600 Leveling Guide | Master

Next, take the portal to the Blasted Lands and fly through the Dark Portal. Watch out when you zone into the Blasted Lands. It's a common place for enemy players to camp and gank you while you're loading and completely defenseless as you can see from all the skelitons scattered about. Pansy asses are just upset after getting schooled in a RBG. I kid, I kid.

Alright so once you're in Hellfire Peninsula, fly clockwise along the south half of the route picking all the herbs along the way. Keep picking herbs and mining until you have at least skill level 315 in both or make a full lap back around to the main towns. Then, smelt all the Fel Iron Ore you have left which should get you to around 325 but you only need 315 to go on to the next zone.

      Mining/Herb Route

Alright with all that smelted, fly your way over into Blades Edge Mountains mining any nodes you see along the way or take the flight path like me and have a short break to get a drink and snack.

In Blades you'll mostly be mining Adamantite Ore but there are Fel Iron and Khorium veins too. The Rich Adamantite and Khorium aren't farmable at this skill level so check your mini map and if it's one of those, just skip it and move on to the next node.

      Mining/Herb Route

When you're mining and herb'ing keep your eyes peeled for treasure chests. This is our second one so far and oh look we found a rare elite as well. An easy kill along with a rare and achievement.

One great thing about Blades is the competition should be none existent. However, some may like Nagrand, Zangramarsh, or the Isle of Qual'Danas better which is why, just like any other section of leveling, you can find alternatives in my custom routes or on tarouwowguides.com.

Continue on my route in Blades Edge until you reach skill level 350 in Mining and 365 in Herbalism which should only take one full lap or so. Then, hearth back to Org or Stormwind and learn Grand Master Miner along with anything else available and Grand Master Herbalist. If you have any Eternium, smelt that and then use it to make Felsteel which should give you a few extra points that'll get you started on the next Mining section.

WoW Mining & Herbalism Combo 1-600 Leveling | Grand Master

Then, take the zep or boat to Howling Fjord. For Horde you'll need to take a zep to Tirisfal Glades and a zep from there to Northrend. You can also train in Howling Fjord like I do here.

Howling Fjord has a pretty simple route to follow. Stick to it going clockwise picking all the Gold Clover and Tiger Lily herbs as well as all the Cobalt Ore you come across. After one lap you can stop back in town to smelt all the Cobalt Ore you've mined up. I actually prefer Borean Tundra a bit more and have a route for that on my website but if you decide on Howling Fjord, fly around my route until you hit skill 365 in Mining and 375 in Herbalism.

      Mining/Herb Route

      Mining 350-400

While you level Herbalism, you can also get some other achievements out of the way like exploring each zone if you haven't do already.

Next, fly up into Zul'Drak passing by Grizzly Hills mining or herb'ing anything along the way. Once in Zul'Drak, follow the route clockwise. As you wrap around to the snowy section in the north, you'll start to see Frozen Herbs but, you won't be able to pick them until 405 which should happen by your second route. Oh, look a rare. Free gold and achievement progress.

      Mining/Herb Route

      Mining 400-425

Leveling gathering professions is a great time to explore these older zones and kill rares for achievements.

Continue around the zone on my route until you hit at least 390 in Mining and 425 in Herbalism. It shouldn't take but a few laps and as you round the Storm Peaks' border, head over into there and start on my route.

The Storm Peaks has a fairly simple route but some sections do have caves that you can go in for a few Mining or Herb nodes. A bonus for this zone is the possibility of running into the Time-Lost Proto Drake and snagging yourself a pretty rare epic drake. I found mine from pure luck while heading into Storm Peaks to do a JC daily.

      Mining/Herb Route

      Mining 400-425

I'm a noob and my bags start to get really full. Make sure before you get to this point, your bags are clear.

Keep at this Storm Peaks route until you have at least 415 in Mining or more and 425 in Herbalism. After you hit those marks or above, hearth back to Org or Stormwind and go to the Mining trainer. Smelt all the Saronite Ore you have which should be you to skill level 425. Then, train Illustrious Grand Master Miner. Next, go over to the Herbalism trainer, and learn Illustrious Grand Master Herbalism.

WoW Mining & Herb Guide 1-600 Leveling | Illustrious Grand Master

Now that you've made it to at least 425 in both professions and have trained, head to Mount Hyjal. Just use the portal in Org or Stormwind. Once in Mount Hyjal, follow the route I have up on the map. This is where Herbalism and Mining get to be super easy for leveling.

      Mining/Herb Route

There are so many herbs mining nodes things just seem to flow a lot better than some previous zones.
After about two laps you probably have around 465 in Mining and 475 in Herbalism. At that point you'll want to hearth back to your main town and take the port into Deepholm.

In Deepholm the route is super easy and has tons of Mining and Herb nodes scattered about. Just like with the Storm Peaks, you'll also have a bonus possibility of finding a rare elite drake. This time it's Aeonaxx who can drop the Phosphorescent Drake which looks pretty cool. It is still heavy camped but you never know. You might just be lucky enough to find it.

      Mining/Herb Route

In Deepholm you'll be on my route for about one lap or until you reach skill level 490 or more in Mining and 500 in Herbalism. It shouldn't take very long.

MoP Herbalism & Mining 1-600 Leveling Guide | Zen Master

After you hit the target skill levels, take the portal or hearth back to Orgrimmar or Stormwind and head to the Mining trainer. Learn everything available and smelt up the Elementium Ore you found until hitting skill level 500. It should only take two stacks of ore to do this. Next, train Zen Master Miner and anything else available. For Herbalism, you can train Zen Master in your main town or train when you take the portal to Pandaria's Jade Forest.

In the Jade Forest we'll be using my top route that you see on the map but Alliance can use the bottom route if you're starting off in Pawdon Village. Anyone going from Dawn's Blossom can pick either.

      Mining/Herb Route

We'll be going counter-clockwise, farming Ghost Iron Ore and Green Tea Lead to start. Here you'll really start to see the enemy faction. Get up off my node foo or get ganked. That's right. Walk away Night Elf. We try to avoid water areas until 515 since we can't pick Rain Poppy until then. You also might run into Rich Ghost Iron that you can't mine right away. No biggy. You'll be mining it soon enough.

My top route has the Windward Isle as part of the route but it's one area that you'll have to avoid completely since you can't pick most of the herbs until higher levels. Not a big deal and we just connect the route to bypass it.

Make sure throughout leveling or gold making you take breaks now and then. Also to keep from being bored, talk to friends, blare music, or zone out watching TV. Having fun should be top priority while doing anything in a video game but getting to the fun might take some boring tasks that need IRL tools to be more enjoyable.

Oh goody. We found a Wodin's Mantid Shanker BoA. Perfect for the Rogue I've started. If you notice my maps have green dots which help me find treasures around Pandaria for achievements that drop a good amount of gold, rare items, or BoAs. I use the Finders and Riches addon combined with the TomTom addon.

Being a Druid you might have noticed that it's pretty hax since I don't have to get out of flight form to loot Herb nodes. Mobs attacking me also don't slow me down because of the Tauren racial that adds speed to picking herbs. I can simply loot the node fast enough and get out of there. It's also nice to not have to worry about other 90's either of my own faction or the enemy's. This makes a Tauren Druid the ultimate Herbalist. If you're not a Druid and have to dismount, make sure you loot the herb before bothering with a mob or enemy player even if that means CC'ing them. That way even if you get owned or are preoccupied with a mob, noone can steal your herbs. Some other good classes for gathering professions are Paladins and Deathknights as well as other classes for many different reasons like vanish from a Rogue or Feign Death from a Hunter.

After looping around two and a half times you should have at least 565 or so in Herbalism and Mining. You'll need at least 535 to go to the next zone for Herbalism but you'll end up with more since you want to have a higher skill level in Mining.

With both at 565 or more, cross over into Valley of the Four Winds and travel along the river. There is literally tons of Silkweed scattered along the river and you might even get lucky enough to find a Golden Lotus node. You'll need a minimum of 540 skill level and you should easily have that already. This one even dropped two Golden Lotus which is nice. Golden Lotus can spawn at any herb location and even drop from another herb if you're lucky enough. When you loot the actual Golden Lotus node, you also get a Luck buff for 15 minutes that makes it so mobs drop Plundered Treasure that can contain all sorts of rare BoE items, profession mats, and gold. Here's a video if you want to see some of the drops.

      Herbalism 545-575

A major bonus to picking herbs here in Valley of the Four Winds is the Tiller items you can get to gain rep with each of the individual tillers. It's mainly in this Heartland area and check out this video for some tips on that. This whole Heartland area is great and following it up with the glades section just east makes leveling or farming here pretty awesome. Near the vermin though can be a bit anoying if you aren't a Druid so you might want to avoid any herbs close to them.

Once you have more than 580 skill level in both Mining and Herbs, head up two zones into Kun-Lai Summit. You could of course stay in Valley of the Four Winds longer but a change of scenery is nice and it gets you use to farming in multiple zones for different herbs and ore.

      Herbalism 575-600

After you get into Kun-Lai Summit head west until you reach the mountains and along the way stick to the mountainous terrain for Mining and black sha-touched areas for Herbalism.

Oh nice we found some Trillium. Trillium Ore is the top ore and comes in black and white. You'll need at least 590 to mine it.

Once you hit the snow covered area, start picking Snow Lily and don't worry about the berries if they show up on your map. Super annoying I know but it's just in this small section.

Keep follow the route I have and loop around criss crossing the area for ore and Snow Lily. There are tons of it all around this area and it shouldn't take long at all to hit 600 in Mining. Even regular Ghost Iron nodes will give you points so don't worry if they show as grey on the tooltip. Bam there it is. Grats everyone and now we just finish up Herbalism. Come on, Snow Lily. Nice we found some and some more to reach 600 which shows as 615 for Tauren since we get a bonus.

Whoo, so that took about four and a half hours but we've finally leveled Herbalism and Mining to 600. Mad grats to everyone there's just one more thing we have to do. It's my favorite. We get to list everything is make some nice gold. I like to use Auctionator for this and list everything for 12 hours in full stacks while undercutting any competition. Here's a link to the Auctionator Addon tutorial if you want to use it for gold making with any items.

A lot of people ask me if they should sell ore or smelt in to bars to sell. The simple answer is whichever sells for more. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. For the long answer though, it really depends. If the price is only slighty different, save your time and sell the ore. If the price is a huge difference, smelt the bars. Smelting can be super time consuming and you could go out and farm a lot more in the time it took to smelt the stuff. At the same time though smelting allows you to go afk and get some IRL stuff done.

In two days most everything sold in the first listing and I only relisted everything a total of two times. The grand total came to 9,480 gold which is pretty good giving about a 2,000 gold per hour farm rate.

Well that's it and grats again on 600 in Mining and Herbalism. They truly are a gold making combo to be reckoned with. If you want to see the best gold making routes for each zone, check out the different videos linked on the screen as they're released following this video.

MoP Mining/Herb Combo EP.1: 2,634g Per Hr - Best Mining & Herb Combo Routes: The Jade Forest

What's up guy and girl players of WoW. Tarou here and in this video, I'm going to show you the best routes for combined gathering with Mining and Herbalism in the Jade Forest.

In this first episode, I'll show you two routes I like to use in the Jade Forest. Before you begin your gathering adventures, make sure you have plenty of bag space by sending items off to an alt or storing in your bank, fully buffed, and repaired. Having at least one Herb and Mining Bag can be helpful but not necessary if you have big bags with lots of slots.

You'll need to have at least 500 in Herbalism and Mining to get started although 550 is best. If you have a Gnomish Army Knife, gathering enchant, or a racial buff this can be less of course. If you don't have Mining or Herbalism and would like to get them, check http://www.tarouwowguides.com/mop-miningherbalism-guide-1-600-leveling-f... for an easy and fast way to level both at the same time.

I'll be farming in the Jade Forest on each route for 30 minutes. These routes are made by me using the addon, Routes. I do adjust them a bit from time to time and even in this video so if you want the latest version, check my website in this guide for a link to how to get my routes.

    Mining/Herb Route

Mostly we'll be gathering Green Tea Leaf, Ghost Iron Ore, and Rain Poppy but we'll also find Golden Lotus, Fool's Cap, Silkweed, and maybe even some Trillium Ore. The latter is mostly found on Windward Isle where you might run into players doing dailys for the Cloud Serpents or farming eggs. If you're looking to get your rep to exalted with the Cloud Serpents and get the mounts, you'll want to check out the video I have up on the screen. Non-druids or players without a vanish de-aggro type of ability, may want to skip Windward Isle completely if it slows you down too much with aggro from mobs.

Often times when you run into other players, of even your own faction, that won't be courteous and straight jack the node right from underneath you while you fight a mob. This is why I say always CC or put a pet on the mob and gather first before fighting. Here I should have NS Cycloned the mob and so I bow to this sneaky Rogue.

To be honest, you can choose to be a douche or take the higher road and not steal from fellow players of your faction. If it's an enemy, you again have the choice but it makes more sense to kill them and take the node or CC and take it. Sometimes for kicks, I blacklist anyone who snakes a node from me and even out farm them where they're farming just to show them how being a dick doesn't fly. On the flip side, it can be a lot of fun to compete with people while gathering seeing who can get to and farm the nodes the quickest. I've found myself late at night laughing at other players and myself. Oh that was pro and you got that but you won't get this next one. Ba-bam in your face. Needless to say it can really pass the time even if it does cut into your profits. Fun and enjoyability is greater than money.

As you fly through the Jade Forest you might see some Herb nodes pop up inside caves. Through years of farming, I've usually found it to be a waste of time to head into a cave unless you see a Golden Lotus or Trillium Ore node or can stealth in and out without getting bothered by mobs. I do grab any near the entrance though.

    Mining/Herbalism - Jade Forest Route #1:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 211
    Green Tea Leaf x 142
    Silkweed x 29
    Fool's Cap x 27
    Rain Poppy x 37
    Golden Lotus x 3

After 30 minutes we picked 235 herbs, three Golden Lotus, and 211 Ghost Iron Ore. That's looks pretty decent but we'll really found out when we see the gold we can turn it into.

Next up we'll move down to our second route and see how well gathering is.

I really like the Jade Forest for simple gathering using Mining or Herbalism separate or even combined like we do in this video. It's usually pretty quiet and competition is typically low even with new players leveling in the area. You also don't have to worry about mobs too much and really shouldn't catch aggro in-game. If you do get aggro, just blow them to bits by popping all your cooldowns. Saving cooldowns is mostly pointless. Use them.

If you're a Druid pulling aggro while flower picking doesn't even pose a problem and that makes them the best gatherers without a doubt. Especially when you're a Tauren because of the racial that reduces the cast time during gathering of herbs.

Paladins and Deathknights are pretty nice too and even other classes for different reasons like invisible from a Mage or vanish from a Rogue. Play what you like.

The best herb you can find while gathering is Golden Lotus and it usually has its own node that can drop as many as five at a time but I've only seen three. It can also be found inside other herb nodes but it's rare. The Golden Lotus specific nodes will give you a luck buff that lets you get Plundering Treasure from mobs. Check my farming guide for info on that. http://tarouwowguides.com/farming-mop-ep-2-mote-harmony-plundering-treas...

When you're gathering with any profession you begin not knowing what to expect just like with anything. As you farm more and more you'll start to learn where nodes can and cannot be. Some places I always check is around bodies of water when I'm doing Herbalism and cliffs or rocky edges when I'm doing Mining. This sometimes might veer you off my routes and that's totally ok. It's just a good guide to start with that I have tested over and over again with great success.

Oh and make sure you have Mist-Piercing Goggles. These are awesome and give you a slight chance to find extra herbs and Mining nodes. You can buy them on the Auction House or have an Engineer make them for you. You'll make your gold back in one farming session. Best part is you don't even need to equip them or even bind them to your character. Just leave them in your bags and they'll do the work. You can tell they are working by the mist over some of the herbs.

Some players don't like gathering and that's fine but if you're forced into it for some reason you can make it a lot more enjoyable and fun by doing simple stuff like blaring music, watching your favorite movie, or talking with friends. It also helps to not burn yourself out by doing some short gathering sessions and taking breaks for raiding, dailys, heroics, PvP, or even IRL stuff.

    Mining/Herbalism - Jade Forest Route #2:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 272
    Green Tea Leaf x 139
    Rain Poppy x 61
    Golden Lotus x 2

Alright the 30 minutes are up on the second route and we got 200 herbs, two Golden Lotus, and 272 Ghost Iron Ore. Don't mind the herbs or ore I didn't count. I got them when the timer wasn't running. It's an addiction that even therapy couldn't solve. Yellow dot on map, must gather.

With both routes done we can go back to Org and list everything on the Auction House. Everything gets put up for 12 hours in full stacks aside from Golden Lotus which I list in singles. There are a lot of addons to use for listing and I have videos on most of them but here I use Auctionator.

When listing any mats you can pretty much ignore the singles or stacks made up of a few that are way under-priced. Don't bother undercutting them and instead price above them. Anyone buying herbs or ore is going to buy more than just a few.

    Mining/Herbalism - Jade Forest Route #1:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 211 = 538.05g (51g /stack)
    Green Tea Leaf x 142 = 293.66g (41.36g /stack)
    Silkweed x 29 = 90.34g (62.3g /stack)
    Fool's Cap x 27 = 240.3g (178g /stack)
    Rain Poppy x 37 = 82.88g (44.80g /stack)
    Golden Lotus x 3 = 162.48g (54.16g ea.)
    ---------------------------
    Grand Total = 1,407.71g in 30 minutes

    Mining/Herbalism - Jade Forest Route #2:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 272 = 693.6g (51g /stack)
    Green Tea Leaf x 139 = 287.45g (41.36g /stack)
    Rain Poppy x 61 = 136.64g (44.80g /stack)
    Golden Lotus x 2 = 108.32g (54.16g ea.)
    ---------------------------
    Grand Total = 1,226.01g in 30 minutes

    Mining/Herbalism - Jade Forest Route #1 & #2 Total:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 483 = 1,231.65g (51g /stack)
    Green Tea Leaf x 281 = 581.11g (41.36g /stack)
    Silkweed x 29 = 90.34g (62.3g /stack)
    Fool's Cap x 27 = 240.3g (178g /stack)
    Rain Poppy x 98 = 219.52g (44.80g /stack)
    Golden Lotus x 5 = 270.8g (54.16g ea.)
    --------------------------------------------------------
Grand Total = 2,634g in one hour

After a day, everything sold including items I gathered for my herb and Mining videos previously released. As with the separate videos, the top and bottoms routes did well but the top route which includes Windward Isle is the winner.

Adding both routes together gave us 483 Ghost Iron Ore, 435 of mixed herbs, and 5 Golden Lotus which totaled 2,634g for an hour of farming. That beat out herb by itself and smashed Mining. In Patch 5.2 these prices have increased.

Different zones will have different results and so next time we move over to Valley of the Four Winds.

MoP Gold Making w/ Mining/Herb Combo EP.2: 2,530g/hr - Best Routes: Valley of the Four Winds

What's up guy and girl players of WoW. Tarou here and in this video, I'm going to show you the best routes for Mining and Herbalism combined in the Valley of the Four Winds.

In this episode we'll look at two routes for this zone. Make sure you have enough bag space,  you're repaired, and buffed.

You'll need to have atleast 500 in Mining and 545 in Herbalism although 550 Mining and 575 Herbalism is ideal which can be less if you have a bonus for Mining and Herbalism. If you don't have Mining or Herbalism and would like to get them, check out http://www.tarouwowguides.com/mop-miningherbalism-guide-1-600-leveling-f... to easily level both of them at the same.

If you haven't seen my video with routes for the Jade Forest, you should check it out for more tips on how to increase your gold per hour with the combination of Mining and Herb.

In the Valley of the Four Winds we'll be running each route for 30 minutes.

This video showcases some of the best routes I have for VotFW. I've ran the zone many times and spent a lot of effort perfecting each route so you don't have to. I do this by using the addon Routes to draw on my maps manually. After these videos release, I always add my new routes to my custom Routes. You'll also need the Routes Addon which all gatherers should have.

My first route for this zone passes through some heavily herb and ore populated areas. You'll be hitting node after node with very little flight time between them. Competition in this part of the valley can be high and vary through out the day depending on your server's play style. Lots of levelers and level 90s are around with most being idlers waiting on an RBG, Gar group, doing dailys, or many other things. You can do the same and farm to mult-task. If you haven't yet, you can get your rep to best friend with all the tillers by farming Dark Soil in the Heartland area.

Best Routes for valley of the four winds

Aside from that, this like any other zone, will have lots of rare mobs you can stop and kill as well. Getting the addon NPCscan can be a great help and make your mult-tasking even expand further to get more achievements done.

If you noticed, when I looted Golden Lotus straight from its spawn, I got a buff of luck which gives me a chance to loot Plundering Treasure from mobs. I end up pulling aggro on a few mobs and they drop some chests which sort of makes up for pulling them. Even so, I won't be counting the loot in this video since it's too luck based.

Mining/Herb - Valley of the Four Winds Route #1:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 197
    Silkweed x 91
    Green Tea Leaf x 178
    Golden Lotus x 2

Alright so after 30 minutes we got a pretty good amount of ore and herbs which I've put up on the screen. Now let's switch the route to my second one and see how it does.
Best Routes for valley of the four winds
Oh and even though I mentioned it in episode one, make sure you buy your Mist-Piercing Goggles if you haven't yet. They don't cost much and you'll get it back in extra nodes within one gathering session. Just check the AH or get an Engineer to make them for you. Then, leave them in your bags and they'll give you extra nodes indicated by clouding nodes with a mist.

I like to use this second route when competition in the Heartland area gets really high. This route adds a bit of a break while still keeping on a track with lots of node spawns. It's a bit unconventional and really throws off competition.

Oh and as always don't forget to CC single mobs and always pop all your cooldowns to kill them fast if you do pull aggro after looting herbs or ore. Those lost seconds really add up if you don't nuke mobs fast enough. I estimate that for every mob encounter, you're losing ore or herbs from as many as three nodes in the same time frame. Skip non rich nodes if level 90 mobs with lots of health are too close.

Mining/Herb - Valley of the Four Winds Route #2:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 219
    Trillium Ore x 2
    Silkweed x 96
    Green Tea Leaf x 169
    Golden Lotus x 1

This was my last gathering session for the day and players were flooding the zone. That made it a bit more difficult to get some rock solid numbers but we didn't do too bad. I've posted on the screen our numbers for my second route. It turned out to be almost the same as our first.

Now we just head back to Orgrimmar and list up everything on the Auction House. First though we're going to compare prices for ore vs bars. In this case, bars are a big enough difference in price to warrant us smelting them. Or is it? I let you know at the end of the video.

With everything smelted we can put the bars on the Auction House along with all the herbs for 12 hours in full stacks and single for tril and Golden Lotus by using the Auctionator addon which I've linked a guide to on the bottom right of the screen.

Mining/Herb - Valley of the Four Winds Route #1:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 197 = 678.57g (Bars: 137.78g /stack)
    Silkweed x 91 = 191.83g (42.16g / stack)
    Green Tea Leaf x 178 = 263.26g (29.58g / stack)
    Golden Lotus x 2 = 113.82g (56.91g ea.)
    ------------------------
    Total = 1,247.5g in 30 minutes!

Mining/Herb - Valley of the Four Winds Route #2:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 219 = 754.35g (Bars: 137.78g /stack)
    Trillium Ore x 2 = 18.92g (9.46g ea.)
    Silkweed x 96 = 202.37g (42.16g / stack)
    Green Tea Leaf x 169 = 249.95g (29.58g / stack)
    Golden Lotus x 1 = 56.91g
    ------------------------
    Total = 1,282.5g in 30 minutes!

    Mining/Herb - Valley of the Four Winds Route #1 & #2 Total:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 416 = 1,433g (Bars: 137.78g /stack)
    Trillium Ore x 2 = 19g (9.46g ea.)
    Silkweed x 187 = 394g (42.16g / stack)
    Green Tea Leaf x 347 = 513g (29.58g / stack)
    Golden Lotus x 3 = 171g (56.91g ea.)
    --------------------------------------
Grand Total = 2,530g in one hour!

Well, it's the next day and it didn't take long for everything to sell. Both the routes combined netted 416 Ghost Iron Ore, a few Trillium, 534 Herbs, and 3 Golden Lotus which gave us a grand total of 2,530 gold for an hours worth of farming in super heavy competitin.

Pretty awesome and how about that choice to smelt bars. Was it worth it? Well, it took us about 6 minutes to smelt them and it gave us around 200 gold more making it the more profitable choice right? Not really. We used 6 minutes and had we farmed that 6 minutes we would have made roughly 253g. It would be worth it though if you wanted to go afk since smelting doesn't take player interaction.

Well, that's it and I'll see you in my next video and guide when we take a look at some routes for Kun-Lai Summit and a special item to make Mining and Herbalism faster.

    MoP Gold Making w/ Mining/Herb Combo EP.3: 2,779g/hr - Best Routes: Kun-Lai Summit

What's up guy and girl players of WoW. Tarou here and in this video, I'm going to show you the best routes for Mining and Herbalism combined in Kun-Lai Summit.

As usual we'll be hitting up two routes for 30 minutes each and comparing the outcome and with this round we're in Kun-Lai Summit. Before you get going, make sure you have enough bag space, you're repaired, and buffed.

You'll need to have atleast 500 in Mining and 575 in Herbalism although the lower Mining will greatly reduce your gold per hour until you level up to at least 550. Of course that can be less with bonuses. If you don't have Mining or Herbalism and would like to get them, check out http://www.tarouwowguides.com/mop-miningherbalism-guide-1-600-leveling-f... to easily level both of them at the same.

If you haven't seen my video with routes for the Jade Forest or Valley of the Four Winds, you should check those out for more tips on how to increase your gold per hour with Mining and Herbalism.

The first route we're on is a medium to large size route that crosses over all types of terrain. I also do a bit of cave running to show you how much time it can consume. Having either Herb or Mining without the other makes cave hopping usually a waste for most classes. When you have both professions though and a good amount of Rich and Trillium veins, it can be a nice change of scenery with a decent return for time spent.

In the Kota Peaks make sure to loot some berries. You'll pick up the berries on the mini-map and might think they're Snow Lily only to find they're lame berries. The fruit are good for a buff to kill mobs but not something you'd want to farm. I skim the mini-map to see which is Snow Lily or Golden Lotus and which is not.

    Mining/Herb - Kun-Lai Summit Route #1:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 184
    Trillium Ore x 18
    Snow Lily x 167
    Green Tea Leaf x 37
    Golden Lotus x 2

Alright so after 30 minutes we got a nice amount of ore and herbs which I've put up on the screen. Now we roll over to the second route to see how it fairs.

This route is very similar to the first but with a concentration happening in a more condensed place. This is my favorite of the two and while you may find mobs on some nodes, try standing as far back from them on the opposite side of the herb or ore node in the hopes not to aggro them. Like I mentioned in the last video, mobs can really wreck your gold per hour.

Both routes do pass through the Fire Camp Ordo. This is a very important place to hit up if you don't have your Forager's Gloves which drop from Korda Torros. They increase your gathering speed by 1.5 seconds down to a max of 0.5 seconds. This is huge for any gatherer but the drop rate can be a bit daughting for some. It's about 10% and the mob respawns approximately every hour.

Make a macro for /target Korda Torros or just do what I do and look for his blatently noticable ass walking through the camp. He sticks out so much when compared to the other mobs not only with his gear but his size and looks as well. He's an easy kill but just like the million kills before this, I still haven't seen the gloves drop. Check the end of this video to see if I ever get the gloves.

    Mining/Herb - Kun-Lai Summit Route #2:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 203
    Trillium Ore x 0
    Snow Lily x 135
    Green Tea Leaf x 12
    Desecrated Herb x 4
    Golden Lotus x 5

Alright so we've just finished up our second route's 30 minute session and the numbers are similar to the first route aside from the lack of Trillium Ore. That's luck for ya.

Now we just head back to Orgrimmar and list up everything on the Auction House for 12 hours in full stacks and singles for Golden Lotus by using the Auctionator addon.

    Mining/Herb - Kun-Lai Summit Route #1:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 184 = 605.45g
    Trillium Ore x 18 = 203.58g
    Snow Lily x 167 = 421.93g
    Green Tea Leaf x 37 = 52.61g
    Golden Lotus x 2 = 132.82g
    ------------------------
    Total = 1,416.39g in 30 minutes!

    Mining/Herb - Kun-Lai Summit Route #2:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 203 = 667.97g
    Snow Lily x 135 = 341.08g
    Green Tea Leaf x 12 = 17.06g
    Desecrated Herb x 4 = 4.50g
    Golden Lotus x 5 = 332.05g
    ------------------------
    Total = 1,362.66g in 30 minutes!

    Mining/Herb - Kun-Lai Summit Route #1 & #2 Total:
    Ghost Iron Ore x 387 = 1,273.42g (65.81g /stack)
    Trillium Ore x 18 = 203.58g (11.31g ea.)
    Snow Lily x 302 = 763g (50.53g / stack)
    Green Tea Leaf x 49 = 69.68g (28.44g / stack)
    Desecrated Herb x 4 = 4.50g
    Golden Lotus x 7 = 464.87g (66.41g ea.)
    --------------------------------------
Grand Total = 2,779g in one hour!

Well, it's the next day and everything sold in the blink of an eye without needing a relist. Both the routes combined netted 387 Ghost Iron Ore, 18Trillium, 355 Herbs, and 7 Golden Lotus which gave us a grand total of 2,779 gold for an hours worth of farming in mild competitin.

Pretty good numbers and even though route two didn't win out, I still consider it my favorite choice when farming in Kun-Lai Summit.

Well, that's it and I'll see you in my next video and guide when we take a look at some routes for Townlong Steppes. Don't forget there's a special clip after the credits.

Do the Forager's Gloves drop? No, nope, no, no, maybe.. no, not today, not this time, or this time, or that time, or anytime, didn't drop here, or there, or there, or oh my god no again, and again, and again, try 27 is... nothing, WTS Bracers, wow didn't drop, dumb bracers, no luck here, or holy hell finally after 32 tries or more it finally dropped. I camped Korda for weeks off and on. So why go through all this trouble? Well, I wanted to show all of you the Forager's Gloves still drop and what they do exactly for Mining and Herbalism. Here is a side by side comparison with and without for Herbalism. A Tauren goes unchanged for herbs but others races will drop to the same speed which is 0.5 seconds. Mining is where it really helps a Tauren and all other races out. It drops it down to 1.7 seconds instead of 3.2 seconds. Korda Torros spawns here every 45  minutes or more after being killed. Thank god that's over. Good luck everyone.  Lates!
